Fellow Cattlemen,

The Stampfel and Carrel families would like to welcome you to our annual Bull Sale.
We have performance tested, semen tested, freeze branded, BVD tested, poured and footrot vaccinated the bulls for your convenience. Every bull in our sale has been DNA tested for parentage. We believe this is one of the deepest, most uniform sets of bulls we have offered to date. This offering represents the top 51% of the 2022 bull calf crop.
We have reduced the number of AI Sires and herd sires used to better facilitate larger sire groups of half brothers. Our embryo program has enabled us to offer some sizeable groups of full brothers. All bulls are free of any known genetic defects. We spend a lot of time researching sires in an effort to use genetics that fit our environment. We strive to keep our bulls fit and sound and not fed to excess. We appreciate bulls with the ability to maximize available forage while producing a product that will push down the scale. Our bulls have been developed on a high roughage,
growing ration to keep them as functional as possible. This year we reduced our target gain to help implement this. We believe bull longevity is as important as cow longevity.
At Pine Coulee we are strong believers in the power of the cow. We are rigid in our culling practices with utmost attention to feet, leg and udder quality. This certainly helps us in our arid, rough environment and believe it will help you too. Our sincere belief that a serious working relationship between the seedstock and commercial producers, at the grass roots level, is an important step to ensure longevity and profitability for both parties.
